I've finally found something I've been looking for for years now - it's a custom mailing list that will send you via email a few of the latest press releases (maybe intro text of a story) to your email, with a link to read the whole article.  This is going to be customizable to select which series you're interested in to sign up for.  I will be working on the configuration for the next couple days, and then I'll roll it out.  You will be able to cancel anytime, and should have the option for how often you are mailed - I'll look into that - but I think it will start at every 2-3 days with the latest headlines here.
