I know the site has been having problems lately, and it's something with the configuration of the site, maybe some files are outdated, or too many requests are being sent to the sql database - I will be working on this as long as the site is up - when it's online of course.  I've changed a couple things for now, and I'll look for updated files to get this fixed.

Might have it fixed now - I'll know in the next few hours. Boy, this is tough, I tell you.

jeff, if you still have the problem, have a look at this:

done - thanks - that was the easiest solution by far, and I've been looking around. I'll see how this works out, maybe they will have a fix very soon. I did the patch, but no change.

About the fix, I hope it'll work for a longer time...
I had the same problems about 4 weeks back, and solved it the same way as you did...
Besides this fix, also make sure you use different mysql-users for the forum, the gallery and mambo/joomla (ie user_forum, user_gallery and user_mambo1, 2 and 3).
Good luck!

I'd be cautious on flooding the database though - I hope there is a fix in the works, really. Any luck with your PC lately, Ilir?

Well, the solution I gave you was about the same solution I got from iPowerweb (they told me to create multiple database users, and let them handle the sql randomly).
Also, if you get the problem again (the error on your page), goto the cpanel, and delete the database user, then recreate it (with the same password and rights).

About my computer: it died almost 2 weeks ago, I think it's the power supply. I already bought a new one, but that didn't work either (have to have an older model, a so called v1.3 power supply, with a -5v line, although that's what I hope...)

I'll keep you up to date, but first I'm going on holidays!!! WOOEHOOO!!! Leaving for Finland this saturday (the 19th) and returning on the 30th somewhere!
