The successful partnership with BMW Motorsport will be extended.
Munich/Frankfurt am Main. 6th May 2006. Dell becomes Official Partner of the BMW Sauber F1 Team. Starting with today's Saturday practice the striking logo of Dell will adorn the front of the sidepods of the BMW Sauber F1.06 and the drivers' helmets. Furthermore the overalls and the team clothing will display the brand. The partnership has been set up to last several years.

This link-up extends an existing successful partnership. Dell was already on board as a partner of BMW Motorsport at the victories in the 24 Hour Races in Le Mans (1999) and the Nürburgring (2005). Since 2005, Dell has been involved in Formula BMW Germany, and in 2006 Dell also provided support for BMW in defending the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) title.

BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen: "Dell and BMW are united by a very high level of efficiency as well as an extremely sophisticated standard for quality and individuality in their own product ranges. We're very pleased that we will be able to continue the successful cooperation of the past at Formula 1 level. Dell gives us another strong partner for our ambitious project with the BMW Sauber F1 Team."

"Dell and BMW Motorsport share a long and prosperous partnership", comments Alain D. Bandle, Dell's Vice President and General Manager Germany & Austria. "It's the logical conclusion to enhance this with the BMW Sauber F1 Team."

The new cooperation as Official Partner of the BMW Sauber F1 Team means that Dell products will also be used at the Formula 1 facilities in Munich and Hinwil as well as on the race tracks. Also the BMW Sauber F1 Team's new Pit Lane Park is supported by Dell.

Dell is one of the world's leading providers of products and services for the creation of a complex internal IT and internet infrastructure. Dell's revenue in the last four quarters totalled 56 billion US Dollars. On the basis of its direct business concept, Dell develops, produces and configures its products and services following individual customer requirements and also offers a wide range of software and peripherals. On the Fortune 500 List Dell is ranked 25th.
