Day three - Friday

Weather conditions: Wet in the morning, later dry; air: 9-14°C, track: 10-24°C

Fastest lap overall: 1:05.287 min, Heikki Kovalainen, Renault R26, Michelin

Nick Heidfeld:

Test kilometres today: 622 km (191 laps)

In the morning, Nick ran an intermediate tyre programme and confirmed the tyre information for the Imola race in April. Later he gathered aero test data, and worked on brake and cooling system checks.

What comes next:
The BMW Sauber F1 Team will be testing again from April 5 to 7 in Paul Ricard.
