Level 2/10
Tools needed Jack Jackstands (2) 5/8 open end wrench 17mm socket or open end wrench 1/2 inch socket or open end wrench (2)
Time: 30 minutes up and down.
This process is pretty easy - don't let this get you down.
First thing to do is to jack up the car, and place the jackstands under the car, preferably on the frame and remove your wheel.

First, you will take your 5/8inch open end wrench and catch a grip on the inside section closest to you on the sway bar link, there is a flat spot where this wrench will fit exactly on this part, and then get the 17mm socket or open end wrench and remove the nut on the far side from you - you have to hold the 5/8 steady while you take the 17mm nut off of the other side of the link.
Once you have this done, go ahead and set up to use a 1/2 inch open end wrench on the bottom section of the sway bar link that connects to the control arm. You will hold either side of this bolt with the 1/2 inch open end wrench and use the 1/2 inch socket to take the other side off.
Now it's ready to pull off.
Now you're ready to install the new sway bar link.

You will first tighten the part of the sway bar link that connects to the sway bar itself, then you go down to the section that connects to the control arm and tighten that up.
Plain and simple, you are done - in the time this takes, which really is not much at all, it is very rewarding if your sway bar links are bad - you will enjoy the responsiveness that you get back from the car.
