MONTEREY, Calif. (Oct. 15, 2004) – BimmerWorld Racing drivers James Clay, of
Blacksburg, Va., Matt Richmond, of Mooresville, N.C., Seth Thomas, of
Cumming, Ga., make the final preparations on their cars following Friday’s
SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring Car practice sessions at Mazda Raceway
Laguna Seca, in preparation for Sunday’s season finale.

Clay, Thomas and Richmond look for great things this weekend, as
they took to the track today for the first time since finishing a
career-best third, fourth and fifth, respectively at Road Atlanta in
September.

Driving the No. 36 Bimmerworld/Ground Control/Wheel Chair
Foundation BMW 325i, Clay was the fastest of the three BimmerWorld drivers
turning the sixth fastest lap in the afternoon practice with a 1:39.787. His
time in the afternoon session was good enough for 13th quickest following
both practices.

Richmond, piloting the No. 37 Bimmerworld/Ground Control/Wheel
Chair Foundation BMW 325i, recorded the 10th fastest time in the afternoon
session with a lap 1:39.916. Richmond’s quick time in the afternoon practice
was 14th overall on the day.
Thomas drove his No. 38 Bimmerworld/Ground Control/Wheel Chair
Foundation BMW 325i to the 17th fastest time of the day, which he turned in
the afternoon session, with a 1:40.580.

The BimmerWorld team takes to the track for SCCA SPEED Touring
Car Round Ten qualifying at 10:25 (PDT) Saturday, Oct. 16. For live timing
