“ Chili Pepper Racing is excited to come back and race with this great group of drivers,” Osborn said. “It is going to be a very challenging year with all the new people coming in and all the new rules.”
 
In 2003, Osborn competed in seven of the 10 SPEED Touring Car races, scoring a career-best 11th place finish at Sebring International Raceway.

In addition to his on-track efforts, Osborn is dedicated to raising money and awareness for the charities his team supports. Last year, this dedication won him the Jim Cook Award, SCCA Pro Racing’s highest non-racing award. The Jim Cook Award is presented to an entrant/driver who has made significant contributions to the overall success of the SPEED World Challenge Championships through promotional activities and has shown a consistent display of good character and sportsmanship.

“ Like we did last year, we plan, at each event, to have charity awareness where we bring in different charities,” Osborn said. “[We’re doing this] to not only help the charities out with their own social efforts, but also to raise money and awareness for them.”
 
The SPEED World Challenge GT season will make its first standing start of 2004 at Sebring International Raceway for the fourth-consecutive year as part of the 52nd Mobil1 Twelve Hours of Sebring week March 17-20. In 2004, the series will visit Lime Rock Park, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Infineon Raceway, Portland International Raceway, Mosport International Raceway, Road America, Road Atlanta Motorsports Center and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
