E39 M5

« on: Friday, October 01, 2004 - 06:42 PM »

Hartge Vmax (top speed) delimiter module
RD Sport EMS (Engine Management Software) update
RD Sport GT-R Short Shifter (reducing transmission throw by 37%)
Eisenmann racing exhaust system, pipes replaced by original pipes
Supersprint resonator (x-pipe)
Gruppe M Carbon / Fiber cold air intake
Hartge tachometer 320 km/h
Hartge suspension, minus 30mm

Next mods:
cylinder heads
transmission

Actual performance data:

438 HP, torque: 445Nm / 400 lbs-ft, top speed 320 km/h / 198.8 mph

goal is to get over the 500 HP border, but leave it looking like a stock M5.
Maybe, just maybe, change the complete look to a stock 530...

no, it's actual. if 198.8 means 320 km/h. my translator says so.
