With the supposed joust of Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel next season who do you think will take over his seat for the 2009 season? There has been much talk about Danica Patrick possibly filling a spot for a formula one team next season, however Dietrich Mateschitz has his eye on young American driver Brook Johnston from the Formula BMW International Championship. Johnston leads the points standings and has a large open wheel racing background and strong knowledge of formula one based cars it seems. Could Johnston be next and outbeat the old Scott Speed and Andretti days in Formula One? I love the Red Bull Racing program but is it time for another American driver to enter the stage. Lets see how the Formula BMW International series ends so far this season and then we will find out if Johnston has what it takes. Other potential candidates for the position are teammate Matt Jaskel, Cole Collier, Didier Keif, and Edward Nolton. Who will it be?
