I have a 2002 3.0i X5, charcoal black, grey interior.

One of our bulbs went out for the fog lamps and was looking around for a bulb.  Initially I went to bavauto.com (I think) and was amazed to see that they were charging $99.00 for ONE bulb!!  I called my local dealer and it was pretty much the same thing.

I decided to remove the bulb and see if it was something special.  Turns out it's only a Sylvania bulb!!!  I looked around the web and found some as low as $9.99 for one bulb.  After some searching around and finding prices ranging from $9 - $39...I decided on Pepboys and paid the $39.00 for two H3 55w 12v bulbs!

How can they charge $99.00???

on the parts that don't go out often?  Allied wanted $192.00 for a control arm for my car, and it only costs $62.00.  It's all in the name of profit for some people...
