I am a new member to this forum and i have a problem with my car: BMW 320i 1995.
The low oil pressure warning light is turning on sometimes. My car is full of oil and i performed an oil change 10 days ago. Also, i changed the oil filter. The low oil pressure indicator turns on ,sometimes, when i stop the car and disappears immediately when the car accelerates.

Can anyone help in this issue please?

Hadi.

Actually - now that I think about it - it might not be the sensor - think it's the oil pump.  Does the engine make a rattle noise, like...marbles, at idle, and then go away at any higher RPM?  if so, that's the problem, not the sensor.

Nope - no mechanic - but I do all work outside of the engine on my own.  Just passing along gained knowledge throughout the years.
