Here we go.  A letter from my mom - in short, Kansas (which is one of my fav Classic Rock bands) is coming downtown to the WMMO Downtown Concert Series.  She wants to sing the National Anthemn - we need your votes - read below.  Ilir - post this on your forum too!!

Hello!

 I auditioned and was selected as one of the 6 finalists to sing the National Anthem at the Downtown Concert Series for WMMO Radio on Sat Aug 26th in Orlando, Fl.

Last year I competed and sincerely appreciated ALL of you who voted for me. Somehow, I had the most number of votes and came in 2nd Place!

So, I am glad to have a second chance!

If you would please go to wmmo.com there will be a spot on the home page that says to vote for the National Anthem Singer.

I’d appreciate greatly your vote.

Because I came in 2nd last year, and am very competitive, would you please forward this to a bunch of folks in your contacts list for me so that they too can vote? The website is available from anywhere in the country, so I am excited to receive votes from anywhere, not just Orlando, Florida!

Kansas is the group performing and is my older son’s favorite! I hope to win and make him proud (ok, he already is proud of his mom!)

thanks Ilir - think she'll win this year, by a landslide.

She lost the competition - but that's ok, she is still the best you'll find.  She'll be singing at one of the Orlando Magic games in December, so that makes up for it.

The concert was stellar - great sound, huge huge outdoor crowd - what a great time it was - despite the drunkards around Scott, Jeannine and Myself - They are playing again in St. Pete on November 3, and I'd surely be there - 2 hour drive southwest of here.
