Ok if you read my previous thread you know the timing belt broke and trashed the head. Since the car is down anyway and I'm going to be spending $$$ anyway... I might as well take the opportunity to start building some performance out of it right? Right.

 Evil

I am having a new head shipped to me this week. The car is going to R&D Performance here in albuquerque. I am having them port and polish the head, more agressive cams, port and polish the intake and exhaust manifolds, port and match the turbo to the manifold, 3" downpipe and turbo back exhaust, custom hard pipe the intercooler piping... and thats it for now... lol... Then in a few months I am making a road trip to 20valve tuners in Pheonix and having them install the Revo software and dyno tune the car.

I will keep you guys updated on this!

so i goes to pick up my car from VW to take it to R&D right? I pop the hood and... the ****IN T-belt is still fully intact. WTF? they tell me the T-belt broke and the ****in thing is still fine...

I start looking for any evidence the head was actually pulled off... none whatsoever. its exactly as i left it with them. They didnt do SHIT and charged me $400 for it.

assholes.

soooooo... no I dont know what the shit is up...

I have no doubt it has something to do with the t-belt, most likely the tensioner broke. But still if you say you are gonna pull the head PULL the HEAD.
