08 Mazda3 & '06 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

« on: Sunday, June 11, 2006 - 11:20 AM »

Yesterday the whole family is out furniture shopping.  We were down in an upscale part of town that we don't normally visit.  Suddenly my wife says turn here, I stab the brakes and grab a quick right turn with no signal.  As I am turning I glance in the mirror and I see a Porsche something right behind me.  I think to myself that I hope I didn't make mad with the quick slow down and turn.  As I am straightening the car out on the new street I catch a black blur in my outside mirror.  He took the same corner and nails the gas, and before I can say oh my gawd he is past me in a blur, I can just barely read Caymen S on the back.  It sounded sweet.  By the time my wife can ask what was that, he was so far gone it was unbelievable.  To quote Will Smith from Independence Day, "I have got to get me one of these!"

hehe, that's one nice car by porsche...
It's just in between the 911 and the Boxster price-wise..

First thought you were talking about the Cayenne (turbo) S
the ugly mofo of the SUV's by Porsche....
It was just tested by TopGear, off-road.
Seems that off-road it's quite nothing, the rims are too large, the tyre is too small, can't put smaller rims on, because the brakes won't fit otherwise.
Besides that, I think it's the quickest SUV out there, with the worst mileage ever...

No the car for sure.  I have been next to those Cayenne's on the road, they are huge!  They would eat my lunch also.

But the little car was sweet.

I think that monster might be too good looking in comparison with the cayenne....
