A week or so ago, I had a day off... or I thought I would...
I got a call at 8.45 in the morning from my work, asking me if I would be willing to transport a car from Utrecht to Den Bosch...
With my sleepy head, I told them I would, hung up the phone, turned around in my bed, and slept for another 15 mins....
After a quick shower, no breakfast (my bread turned green overnight...) and a big cup of milk, I got on my bike, and raced to central station where my train was awaiting me.
When I arrived at the platform, I just made it into the train, and we went off to Breukelen (only 10/15mins by train), and after that time I got out.
Walking to the Peugeot Dealer, I was wondering what kind of shitty car I was going to drive, and my eye felt on a new 407 coupe, which was parked near the entrance.
After going to the reception, I walked with a guy to the back (ah shit, I thought, I'm not gonna drive that 407 coupe), and we went to pick up... OH YEAH, another 407 coupe!
As I never saw this car before, I asked him: WHY (have I never seen this before?), and he told me that it was imported from France, as it wasn't yet available in Holland.
I got a 1 or 2 month old French import 407 coupe, all leather inside, 2.7litre V6 24v, nice set of spoilers all round, and most importantly: the keys Smiley
I didn't do anything too stupid with this nice piece of machinery (as I cannot afford to loose my license, and my student-loan doesn't allow me to pay any tickets Sad )
So I drove off, not too great an engine I though (didn't find any sports-mode, only found that after 2 mins of driving Smiley ).
Too bad the trip ended within 45 mins, testing the car, getting pretty used to ppl staring at me in my flashy ride (especially the "normal" 407 or 407SW drivers).
After I dropped of the car, I had to take the bus home (what a shitty way), 20 mins walking to the busstation, that's not a great way to end this nice story... Sad
So to end this story, I'll show you a pic of the car (not too impressive, but it was impressing to see it in real life...):

I think it has potential. I can see where it would look better in person. The real question is, was it worth getting out of bed for? You should have made a good impression, coming in on your day off. Then again, maybe it was one of those crazy vivid dreams that you can't get out of your head.

there's no place to go in to, my work is driving cars, mostly as a private-chauffeur sometimes as a "hiker"...
I just got there, and the woman behind the counter told me I had to be there at 9am, so I told her I got a "wake-up-call" at 8.45am, so it was a little hard to make it in 15 mins.
But it was a nice car to get up for Smiley
