Has anybody done this? How much fluid will it take to replace what comes out? What type do you suggest?
I gather that you run the front of the car up on ramps, and keep the back of the car lower than the front for the fluid to drain out of the bottom plug on the differential.

On the E36 the diff plug is on the front of the diff, so having the front higher won't work. I think level is best.
