oh wow my edit didnt go through last night... otherwise you would know lol...

I hope to have it on the road by summer... in time for Waterfest the big VW show on the east coast...

any way my plans are

a 60mm/60mm drop, single round headlight conversion or european code squares, euro big bumper conversion, some nice wheels (still undecided... I had some Ronal turbos but some one else got them on their VW and want somthing no one else has here... BBS RM maybe), post '89 doors (no smokers window), color change to white or black, full interior out of a 99-2005 VW (gonna be hard to find a donor car...), 1.8t swap if i can find said donor car... some other stuff that is still secret lol... will keep updated.

hehe, looking good!
And good luck finding a donor car.

How's the US and speed-bumps? Are you able to lower your car 60mm and still get over them?
Here it would be hell, speed-bumps everywhere!

it will take plenty of manuvering around speed bumps but thats the fun of a lowered car... im gonna have to get a dry sump pan and stuff so i can run a high and tight oil pan so i dont smack it on everything...

Well I got a super close ratio (a 4K code, closest ratio tranny ever made by VW) GTI transimission but I overlooked one small thing, The tranny mounts are completely different on GTI's so... Looks like I'm either going to have to find a close ratio jetta diesel tranny or fab a tranny mount... boo...
