Here are some of the mods:

Auto to 5-speed
Bilstein all around
Bav lowering springs
M3 front bushings
Front suspension rebuilt
Remus exhaust
Electric cooling fan
Freon retrofit
Alarm
Alpine stereo
6X9 speakers in rear
M3 shifter
M3 lighted knob
Aftermarket wheels
H&R spacers
Thule bike rack
Trunk spoiler (325is)
Ellipsoid
Silverstars headlights
Clutch stop
Leather boot for shifter and e-brake
Euro front tag
Rear license plate cover
Tinted windows
Engine completely overhauled 50K miles ago

All mods done by myself during the last 5 years.  This is a daily driver that hits anywhere from 1,000 to 1,700 miles per month.  Gas mileage is 32 Highway and 27 City.  Coming soon: rear subframe bushings, bearings and black shadow.
How much have I spent?,  I stopped counting 4 years ago.

the wheels I have now on my car, came off of Luis's car - this white e30 - and that car rides soooooo much softer than mine - I'm so freakin jealous, and he knows that.

No, I don't have a garage (but I wish I did ).   Still, I have some other stuff I have to do, but with school, family and  work is hard to find the time.
I'd really like to replace the driveshaft.  I've been looking around and so far no luck.  I need to replace the subframe bushings, but I won't deal with that until I get the 'shaft.

I just black shadowed all the chrome trim around the windows.  It has a much cleaner look now.  I'll post some more pics as soon as I get to wash her.

I don't think there is anything wrong with a little chrome trim.  Especially if it was OE.  It also looks good in conjunction with the new wheels.  Now if you where still running your old wheels you could justify it by wanting the all black look.
