As I entered the freeway on the way home tonight I ended side-by-side to a beautiful E46 coupe.  Bright Red.  We darted through traffic and traded the lead for about 8 miles to my exit.  Traffic was moderately heavy, you had to watch ahead and pick your lanes.  It was fun.  I really love the look of those E46's.  Those front fenders just slay me.  They are pure sex on wheels.

We weren't racing and I am sure he would have left me far behind had he chose to do so.  Traffic most was moderately heavy on a four lane freeway so we were able to dart and weave through the cars.  Sometimes I was in front and sometimes he was.  We never got into triple digits.  In that environment I held my own.  My car works pretty good between 50-100.  You have to anticipate the acceleration bursts.  If you get caught under 3,000 rpm or less and then decide you need to get going, too late you're toast.  But, if you keep the rpm's up and your foot in it, it responds well.  And darting and weaving through traffic and the twisties, oh it loves the twisties, it will keep you in the neighborhood.  Now if you are sitting at stoplight, just wave and tell them you will see them tomorrow.
