I was looking at the pictures. So, Baur Targa, is that some euro-only trim package? And, what was the little ragtop being restored? well Baur used to make the very first BMW covertibles, they came out of the factory as coupes, and were made into targas by Baur Baur did a couple of models:E21,E24,E30, and even E36 and yes,the car's getting a new top aswell! :) Title: Re: my sister's 316 Baur TC project Post by: piratelife on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 - 12:03 AM Luke,

Title: Re: my sister's 316 Baur TC project Post by: tezza on Thursday, September 22, 2005 - 04:50 AM Very nice looking car, just as good as my 1987 325e T C Baur. As a matter of interest do you know where to obtain parts for the central lock on the hard top? I reside in Australia and have been searching the world but without success.
Title: Re: my sister's 316 Baur TC project Post by: Jeff Seabrook on Thursday, September 22, 2005 - 11:05 AM do you have a part number? I have a contact here in Tampa and Orlando that could find most anything.

Title: Re: my sister's 316 Baur TC project Post by: nikazwaa on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 - 01:54 PM COOL!!! Are those Alpina or Hartge rims? Sorry... very new to the bimmer scene. :-[
5 or 4 lugs? Title: Re: my sister's 316 Baur TC project Post by: Ilir on Thursday, September 29, 2005 - 12:52 PM They're alpina rims, I think 18"....
owh, and welcome to bmwsport.netwo rk forums, you're always welcome here! :) Title: Re: my sister's 316 Baur TC project Post by: Jeff Seabrook on Friday, September 30, 2005 - 12:25 AM 4 lugs - on all e30's except the M3 - that's 5 - you can do the 5 lug conversion, but it requires parts from an e28 5 series from what I hear (strut tower and wheel hub) - but I don't see why you can't just use an e30 M3 hub and/or strut tower...?
who can look into this for me? seems like the market is made for 5 lug wheels instead of 4 prodominantely . Title: Re: my sister's 316 Baur TC project Post by: Jeff Seabrook on Friday, September 30, 2005 - 12:28 AM it's !!! beautiful out there man, i gotta go one day
