Title: Is Scuderia Toro Rosso Bringing In American Brook Johnston? Chinese Grand Prix!
Post by: BMW CSL Crazy on Monday, April 13, 2009 - 01:46 PM
Brook Johnston has been quite out of the F1 scene in the eyes of the public for a while, yet some press had recently interviewed him in China. What is Johnston doing in China the weekend before the Grand Prix? Rumors have said that the young American was involved in some key trials and testing with Bruno Senna this past weekend, to replace the unsure Swiss sensation Sebastian Buemi. However, Buemi has gotten Toro Rosso 2 points thus far, yet failed to do so in the last two races. Could STR be pushing for a championship this early and looking for a driver that will take them there? Not sure, but signs already show the American in downtown Shanghai being interviewed by the press. This could be a sign for STR's breakthrough change back to the American way once again.

I have heard that Brook Johnston was doing some testing for Toro Rosso this past weekend and making a showing talking to the team about an early season change. I am a huge fan of the American F1 movement. Lets keep pushing for Brook! We need to make the sport larger over here in the US. Buemi and Senna are great drivers, but i say give Johnston a shot. That would make history!
