Title: Re: ANY HISTORY ON 530i 94 Post by: DeanP on Sunday, August 26, 2007 - 10:51 pm Sorry Jeff, not correct. Prior to 1995 the 530i sold by BMW was a V-8. I'm not sure what year it started, but BMW did offer a 3.0 V-8. The 3.0 liter 6 didn't come around until much later.
