Title: Ignition system in M42 Post by: Biem on Thursday, July 27, 2006 - 01:50 PM It's been a second time that my car (cold engine) went crazy, throwing like it wasn't running on one cylinder. I figure it can be fault of either spark plugs, ignition coils (hope not!) or ignition wires. I'll start with changing spark plugs since i got no idea of when it could have been changed. What kind of spark plugs do you recomend for M42? I heard 4-electrode are good ones.
Thanks Title: Re: Ignition system in M42 Post by: DeanP on Thursday, July 27, 2006 - 02:53 PM I use NGK stock number 2288.

i've bought NGK BKR6EQUP today. They were quite expensive but should be real good. Also Bosch FGR7DQP are excellent for M42. Regards Title: Re: Ignition system in M42 Post by: kickass95318ti on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 - 12:38 AM does napa have the FGR7DQP?
